work bag for your guy?

I have been trying to find a modern/simple, yet young/professional work bag for my husband. I know that is asking a lot. But I think I've found some! Jack Spade makes these great simple bags for men (or women) which really emody all of the qualities I was looking for. The price tag is hefty, but with something that comes in leather, I'm sure it will last and mature with you.

This one would definitely work for women as well.

too bad I don't have an iphone OR an ipad . . .

"Have you seen House Beautiful’s fab new paint finder app?  ($4.99) The Hearst press department sent this over yesterday and I have to say it’s a very inspired. 

According to the press release you can search specific paint colors  from brands including Benjamin  Moore, Farrow & Ball, Glidden, Ralph  Lauren Paint, Sherwin-Williams, and  more. Or you can breeze through “Editors’ Picks” for  a curated collection  from HB editors.  If you don’t see what you want there click on the  Color Personality tool  to find the hue that fits you best.

App users can save their favorites in “My Paint Box,” where up to  four  colors can be compared side-by-side.   Paint colors can also be  viewed in full screen – a digital version of a  paint swatch so users  can hold it up and see how it looks before committing to  painting the  entire wall.

This tool is way cool. I might just have to buy an apple product now . . .
